Overnight Oats

I absolutely love Overnight Oats. I make about 10 jars on Sunday evening that get my husband and I through the week. They are the perfect quick, easy and healthy breakfast to take on the go. It also makes a great mid-day or late night snack. There are various combinations and an endless list of ingredients you can add. I make in leftover mason or jam jars.

Here is my favorite recipe combo:

Ingredients for one jar:

1/4 c old fashioned organic oats

1/4 c milk -I prefer unsweetened vanilla almond milk or oat milk (any kind of milk will work)

1/3 c yogurt -My favorite is plain Bulgarian which may be hard to find, Greek works great too!

Drizzle of maple syrup or honey depending on your sweetness level-you don’t have to add any!

2 tsp chia seeds

2 tsp hemp seeds

handful of blueberries

To assemble:

  1. Start with adding oats to jar

  2. Add milk to cover oats

  3. Add yogurt

  4. Drizzle with syrup or sweetener

  5. Add chia and hemp seeds

  6. Top with blueberries

  7. Shake jar to mix it all up (make sure to close lid!)

  8. You can top with more blueberries after shaking

  9. Store in fridge up to 5 days
